The product arrived and looked exactly as it was pictured. The Furby was a Christmas present for our niece and she was absolutely thrilled with it. The only thing that was a little frustrating was trying to get the screws undone to put in the batteries. The screws require a very small screwdriver and, once we found one that worked, the screws were fastened incredibly tightly. Once we were able to insert the batteries, the Furby worked wonderfully and was a huge hit with everyone around.By ms0523
There were so many furbys to choose from, so I settle on the teal and purple furby. I bought it for my 6 year old daughter and even I wanted to play with it. It is so cute and cuddly, you will fall in love with it. The furby takes 4 double A batteries and the batteries last around four days , depends on how much you interact with furby. Furby do not have an on and of switch, he will just fall to sleep when you stop playing with him. Your furby will take on your personality. For example if you pet his head, rub his belly and feed him regularly, he will be good nad loving. If you neglect him by mot feeding him, hold him upside down and pulling his tail he will behave badly. When I say badly, I mean badly, his eyes turns evil he start grunting and made farting noises. It will take ou about 6 days to get him back good by being nice to him. You will have to pet his head and rub his belly. Furby do recognize if his owner is a boy or girl and change his voice to suite. So basically your furby is going to be a reflection of you. It do respond to music by rocking side to side. The furby also speak furbish and in time will speak english, one word at a time. You can also download the furby app, so you can understand what he is saying. So you can talk to him in furbish and english. By looking at furby eyes you can tell how he is feeling. I say buy it, you will not regret it.

This was a Christmas present for my 4 year old niece. I must say that she found this Furby to be everything she dreamed of! For 4, my niece is extremely smart, and she was speaking "furbish" and teaching the furby english in no time. My sister in law was a little creeped out by the furby because it told her she "smelled beautiful". I think it keeps telling her odd things like that, so she stays away, ha! Anyway, other than that, the furby is a lot of fun, and my niece is actually having a good time teaching and learning and playing games. I have heard if you purchase an additional furby, they will interact and teach and play together. All in all its a really fun, cool gift. I totally recommend for the little ones!
